Moreover, it is better to use the ingredients that are in season in your salads, so that they can deliver maximum health benefits.
In other words, when it’s strawberry and rhubarb season, you should definitely try this recipe!
Rhubarb & strawberries
Rhubarb and strawberry combination is perfect to only for desserts, but also for the salads. This summer salad feels so fresh in your mouth, and that strawberry sauce makes the dish complete. In fact, it’s all there – crunchy and fresh elements on the plate.
This should be on you healthy salads list!
The color of summer salad
The green and red color makes you feel happy to enjoy the meal and it delivers the feeling of summer! I’m sure that it is one of the best strawberry salads!
Moreover, this strawberry salad dressing is perfectly balanced and can be used for other recipes, too.
Health benefits
Above all, this summer salad would be perfect for digestion and weight loss. Rhubarb is one of my favorite vegetables (yes, did you, know it is considered as a vegetable?). It has great nutritional value. Both rhubarb and strawberries have vitamin C, so it’s really good for the immune system.
On the other hand – apples, that are packed with lots of minerals (an apple a day, keeps the doctor away, yes?). Well, you get all the vitamins, fiber, minerals, antioxidants, detoxifiers, anti-aging – all in one delicious plate!
As a final point, all the ingredients in this salad make a healthy and delicious plate of food, that we all should eat every day!
Be healthy and happy! Enjoy the summer.
