Instructions
Make mascarpone cream. Whip heavy cream with icing sugar until soft peaks. Gently fold in mascarpone cream with a spatula.
1 cup heavy cream,
2 tbsp icing sugar,
1 cup mascarpone cheese
Slice strawberries, leave some berries for decoration.
10-16 strawberries
Add strawberies with sugar in a pan. Cook few minutes, stirring until strawberries start to let out juice. Let it cool a little.

Juice one lemon in a separate bowl. Dip savoiardi in lemon juice, place in a serving tray as a first layer.
1 lemon,
12 savoiardi or ladyfingers
Next layer is mascarpone cream.
Add strawberry jam on top.
Repeat layers until top of the tray.
Decorate with fresh slices of strawberry and lemon balm.
6 lemon balm leaves
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
