  • 5 apples
  • 50 g dates, choppped /0.76 oz
  • 15 g peanuts, chopped /0.53 oz
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg, ground
  • 5 tsp honey
  • 5 tsp Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1 tsp sugar powder (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F / 180 C

  2. First cut the caps of every apple, then remove the core, so it has a hole from one side.

  3. Place cored apples in the baking tray, fill an inch with water.

  4. Mix dates, peanuts and honey together in a separate bowl just until combined.

  5. Fill apples with dates, peanuts, honey mixture. Sprinkle with spices and cover with apple caps.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven for an hour or more until apples are soft. Spoon water from the pan on the apples from time to time

  7. Place apples on serving plates. Remove the caps from baked apples add a spoon of Greek yogurt on every fruit. Close the caps, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
