Easy baked apples with yogurt are one of the healthiest, low cab and gluten-free desserts that you can make with this amazing fruit! These are so good for breakfast or lunch.

The  apples I got in the store were pretty big, so I cooked them about and  hour and a half, spooning water from the tray on the top from time to  time.

We love serving these apples warm with Greek yogurt on top. You can serve with granola on the side. It’s an easy seasonal dessert to make!

Baked  apples without sugar are our favorite simple desserts to enjoy in  autumn. Honey and dates are perfectly sweet for snacking,

Preheat oven to 350 F / 180 C.

Cut the caps of every apple, then remove the core, so it has a hole from one side.

Place cored apples in the baking tray, fill an inch with water.   Fill apples with dates, peanuts, honey mixture. Sprinkle with spices and cover with apple caps.

Bake in a preheated oven for an hour or more until apples are soft. Spoon water from the pan on the apples from time to time.

Place apples on serving plates. Remove the  caps from baked apples add a spoon of Greek yogurt on every fruit.  Close the caps, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
